Silverback Gorillas
While filming throughout Rwanda, I once experienced a beautiful climb through Volcanoes National Park in Northwestern Rwanda. After an hour of trekking through thick, never-before-touched rainforest, we came in contact with a family of silverback gorillas. They were calm and curious, and allowed our small group to gently approach them for photos.
